What is homeopathy

Homeopathy is a system of traditional medicine that stimulates and directs the body’s self-healing capacity.

Medicines are selected based on their specific affinity for states of ill-health, whether a person experiences this physically, emotionally or mentally. Based on a detailed case history, a homeopathic medicine is prescribed according to an individual’s unique set of symptoms and acts to stimulate the body’s healing response.

Homeopathy can be used for a variety of acute and chronic health conditions either as a stand-alone therapy or as a support for people undergoing conventional or other forms of treatment.

Homeopathy views symptoms of illness as normal responses of the body as it attempts to regain health. Rather than suppress symptoms, homeopathic treatment seeks to assist the body to resolve the underlying cause.
