Abstract

Previous research has shown that the title of ‘Victoria’s first homeopathic practitioner’ should not be assigned to famous public figures such as John Bell Hickson, Thiennette de Bérigny or Dr Johannes Werner Günst. Therefore, who was Victoria’s first homeopathic practitioner? This article describes three contenders for the title, and provides suggestions as to why the work of these people has gone unnoticed until now.
