This pregnancy is a torture and misery

Abstract

I saw this four-months pregnant lady referred to me by another homeopath for hyperemesis gravidarum. She was 31 years old and this was her third pregnancy. She presented on 6 Oct 2010 with this incessant vomiting that had been going on for more than a week. She had been prescribed constitutional and specific homeopathic remedies including Ipecac, Symphoricarpus racemosa and Nux vomica. She had also been to a lot of other complementary practitioners and unfortunately nothing helped her. She did not wish to take conventional medicines. So, there was a sense of desperation there.
