Abstract

Acute pancreatitis is a severe acute condition with excruciating pain. It is always a challenge dealing with acute pain and a rewarding experience to see how the homeopathic medicine can take the place of morphine-derivative drugs in these circumstances. In this article I want to present a case where such benefits were found.

Keywords: Acute pancreatitis, severe pain, morphine-like drugs, OxyContin®, Endone®, Bryonia, Sankaran, Violales, typhoid miasm, case analysis.
