Abstract

Managing allergy is no more or less complex than other chronic diseases we confront today. This phenomenon has emerged in the last  decade after the first wave of asthma, allergic rhinitis and inhalant sensitisation. Food allergy, a major healthcare issue, affects developed, developing and emerging economies, especially populations affected by the western lifestyle. In addition, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases associated with dysregulated immune responses have risen dramatically over the past few decades.
