Sometimes there may be a request to provide a medicine prescribed by another practitioner. This could be the case because the medicine is required urgently while the treating practitioner may have their clinic too far away. In such a case the patient should obtain a written request from their practitioner for you to supply the remedy. This can be transacted via email from the practitioner to you. Because in this case you would not do a consultation the label on the remedy should preferably say under ‘Instructions’ or ‘Dosage’: ‘As instructed by your practitioner/name of practitioner’.
Be extremely cautious with any requests for medicines outside of a consultation and where the person is not known personally from a previous consultation.
