Abstract
The purpose of this proving was to test a homeopathic combination product. The trial was conducted in 2009, when access to homeopathic medicines began to come under threat in Australia. At the time it was possible that provings would contribute one layer of evidence towards legitimacy for making claims by pharmacies and manufacturers. A number of questions were investigated in the process of this proving: Would a meaningful remedy profile actually emerge? Would a jumble of unrelated symptoms emerge? Is there any value in conducting provings on combination products? The product was a Homeopathic Morning Sickness Formula and the proving notes included an expected number of GIT symptoms, however, all provers also experienced symptoms in the joints.
Keywords: Homeopathy, proving, morning sickness, combination remedy.
