Description

2 sessions – 4 CPD/CPE points

Session 1 – Clinical research in practice: discover the hidden truth

Clinical research is different from clinical practice. Despite the need for clinical research we seldom undertake it. Does research in clinics always demand special requirements or do we just need the right motivation, support and kick-start? Does clinical research always mean randomised control trials (RCT) or is there something beyond this?

In this session Dr Arora provides a brief about research methods and discusses the possibility of undertaking clinical research in clinics.

Session 2 – Research methodologies on one-sided disease – a challenge or a myth?

One-sided diseases are a challenge, not only from the point of view of the prescription but from a research methodology point of view. In the absence of many symptoms, can a single or few symptoms help us to undertake research or draw scientific conclusions?

Can one-sided diseases be the basis of research in our clinics?
