Abstract
How do professional homeopaths in our modern world manage the complexities of patient’s presenting health problems? In Hahnemann’s time the challenge was to identify the characteristic symptoms, causation and obstacles to cure. For today’s homeopaths the patient’s illness symptoms are often intermingled with pharmaceutical drug side-effects so that we see artificially imposed symptoms, rather than natural symptoms occurring from a deranged ‘vital force’.
This paper endeavours to demonstrate how the application of tautopathy is a relevant and useful tool for today’s homeopathic practitioner. The paper will also discuss an increasingly common problem of homeopathic practice, iatrogenic disease states, and how they can be managed using tautopathy.
