Abstract

This case report presents a case of post-viral polymyalgia rheumatica, treated with homeopathic remedies. The case reports the complete resolution of the symptoms for a 63-year-old female patient, a yoga instructor by profession, with symptoms of joint inflammation, inability to work, weakness and significantly raised inflammatory markers. The inflammatory markers and rheumatoid factor markers reduced to normal through the course of treatment. The patient was released from specialist care after a year of homeopathic treatment and has returned to a normal active lifestyle without the ongoing need of medical intervention. This recovery was also accompanied by significant improvement in her mental and emotional well-being, as reported by the patient.
