Abstract

I invited five homeopaths, at different stages in their careers, to share a reflection on what it takes them to make a living as a homeopath in Australia. One practitioner decided that their story was too hard to share. Ordinarily, I would have not mentioned this. However, we are finding from the Homeopathy Workforce Survey (HWFS) how many practitioners at all ages and stages of their career are making difficult choices on how, when and where they can practice as a homeopath.

The first year results for the HWFS are presented elsewhere in this edition and I encourage you to review them.

Thank you to the homeopaths who have started this important discussion for us. This is an open invitation for you, the reader, to share your experience. Please write a letter to the editor to share your experience.
