Abstract
A look at the April 1960 issue of the British Homoeopathic Journal (49:2, pp. 75-144).
Isn’t it enjoyable to look back? Whether it’s to review one’s life, enjoy a long-forgotten favourite film or study some of our homeopathic history, it can be pleasurable, negative or positive. With these thoughts in mind, I’ve chosen to examine an issue of the British Homoeopathic Journal (BHJ) from April 1960. This issue in particular because it’s among my collection and because it was still very early in the 21-year tenure of Dr Llewelyn Ralph Twentyman’s editorship of the journal. His first issue as editor appeared in January 1958 (47:1) and the last in October 1978 (67:4). He was succeeded by Dr Anthony C H Campbell and preceded by Dr James Douglas Kenyon.
