Abstract
At the time of the initial trituration I had been practising as a classical homeopath for 7 years. I was pleased to partake in the making of a remedy. The experience of making a remedy I considered to be an important aspect of education for a homeopath. I saw it as a way to immerse myself in an aspect of homeopathy that I had till then not experienced. The process intrigued me. The results have become the three books in the ‘Journeys from Substance’ series:
- Colostrum
- Olive Leaf
- Sage.
Each book is the record of my experience that I had while triturating the individual substances. This article is an exploration of my experiences compared to those of a shaman’s journey and a brief comparison between these two remarkable modalities.
