Abstract

Many patients present in clinic with a picture of thyroid dysfunction, but blood test results are within normal range. Often good constitutional  treatment alone will resolve this issue and bring the patient back to balance. However, there are times when our best practise does not bring the  desired results. Over the years, through working with hair analysis in some cases and careful observation in others, a picture of imbalance and  maintaining cause has become evident and increasingly common. The relationship between thyroid issues, environmental toxicity and elevated copper levels are symptoms of our generation and have implications for our success going forwards. This article explores the symptom pictures, explains the  connections and details some of the research, illustrated with examples from clinical cases.

Keywords: Copper, thyroid, Thyroidinum, xenoestrogens, oestrogen dominance, stress, environmental pollution.
