Similia Vol 31 No 2 – December 2019

Author: Peter Morell

Abstract

‘The basis of science lies in counting or measuring.’

Detailed examination of the twelve published Casebooks reveals many important aspects about Hahnemann’s medical practice. For example, it is very  instructive to study the many twists and turns in his use of drugs. His use of drugs changed a great deal over the years. This article examines the drugs that dominated Hahnemann’s practice at different points in his long medical career, i.e. the medicines he used most often at different points in time.

N.B. The Casebooks are labelled D2 to D38 for the German years of his career and DF1 to DF17 for those compiled when he was living in France.
