Abstract

‘DARE TO BE WISE’, the famous quote Hahnemann used in the title page of the second edition of ‘Organon’ was written by Roman poet Horace. But, why did Hahnemann use this phrase in his book? He used it because he lived it. The word QUIT simply wasn’t in this man’s vocabulary. He dared to discover the true and right way of healing. To break prejudice established for long years in a society is not easy. You need courage when you know that you will face repeated rejection with grave punishment when introducing a new phenomenon. This was the background which led Hahnemann, a qualified physician, an erudite scholar and a brilliant chemist to discover homeopathy.
