Drugs, dysbiosis and the bowel nosodes

Similia Vol 31 No 1 – June 2019

Author: Sarah Penrose

Abstract

Often undervalued in homeopathic materia medica, literature and clinical prescribing, the bowel nosodes as a group are especially useful where drugs, particularly antibiotics, have resulted in altered health. All of the eleven bowel nosodes have their own distinct, characteristic indications originating  from human bowel bacteria. The aim of this text is to examine a little bit of history and encourage study of the bowel nosodes via their indications and clinical applications in 21st century Australian homeopathic practice.
