Abstract

Depression is a serious and common illness. This article outlines the signs, symptoms and classifications of depression, as well as medical and psychological treatments. The clinical application and treatment strategies of homoeopathy towards treating depression and mental disorder are discussed, including the detailed information set out by Hahnemann in the Organon of Medicine.
