Challenges to teaching ‘the homeopathic proving’
in Australian CAM colleges

Similia Vol 26 No 2 – December 2014

Authors: Anne MacFarlane, Shashi Reddy and Greg Cope

Abstract

The homeopathic proving is an essential part of homeopathy studies. Teaching and practising the proving process in government regulated CAM  tertiary organisations poses specific problems not found in unregulated institutions. The challenge is to continue providing the highest standard of education whilst conforming to safety and ethical standards stipulated by research and the Human Research Ethic Committee (HREC) when using  human volunteers.

Keywords: Homeopathic education, research, homeopathic ‘proving’.
