Similia Vol 25 No 1 – June 2013

Authors: Wiet van Helmond and Alize Timmerman

Abstract

The medicine Buddleia davidii can be considered to treat any type of trauma: a trauma from a previous life, in the family, at birth, via ‘shocking life  events’, traumatic shock, or any form of injury. In this way it differs from the butterfly medicines in the sense that it is syphilitic whereas the butterflies tend to be tubercular.

Keywords: Trauma, syphilitic miasm, butterfly medicines, treatment of family relationships, disconnection of body and mind, Madeleine Evans, Colin Griffith, Scrophulariaceae.
