Introduction

The Homeopathic Medicine Conference which was held in Hobart in October 2014 made special reference to Tasmania’s history in the use of homeopathy for the treatment of its population. Prior to the Conference I had taken several months to research and update my knowledge of Tasmania’s homeopathic history, making many new discoveries in the process. While in Hobart, I conducted a personal pilgrimage to various sites which had been used by Hobart’s pioneers – our early practitioners and chemists.
